Great new resource for planning your vacation

When you’re planning a vacation to a destination that’s new to you, it helps if you can find out a bit about the place before you leave. And although you can find information on many different vacation destinations on our main site, it never hurts to add a new resource to the list.

I’ve just come across a new resource that I think will definitely add value when you’re planning your itinerary. It’s called There are Places World Travel Guides.

The site is well laid out and loads up quickly, even though there are plenty of attractive pictures of various places - even on the home page. Once there, you can select either by continent, and then click on through to the country, state and so on, or just choose from one of the most popular city or country destinations on the right hand side.

There are videos of many of the places described as well, so the site is well worth a visit, even if you’re just browsing.

Plenty of choice for trekking vacations and other adventures

Trekking holidays are a great way to experience places and meet people that are completely outside our everyday lives. At one time this type of holiday was difficult to find, and restricted to people in their twenties by some specialist firms. That’s no longer the case.

The Adventure Company is offering trekking holidays to destinations as varied as the slopes of Kilimanjaro, North Africa and Nepal, as well as a number of family trekking holidays.

If you would prefer to do a little less walking, there’s plenty of other vacations to choose from, like China or the Inca Trail, plus family holidays in Europe, Egypt, India or on safari.

Many of these destinations have limited places, due to local Government licensing requirements, so book early to ensure your adventure of a lifetime is still available.

Adventure holiday? Family holiday? How about both at once!

Thinking of a family holiday, but hankering after the adventure of a lifetime? With The Adventure Company, it’s possible to do both at the same time.

The company offers a wide range of different holidays for the adventurous spirit, including an amazing selection of Family Adventure vacations. Don’t go thinking that this means Disneyland or some other theme park, either. These packages will take you to exotic places far and wide - with never a sign of Mickey and his friends.

Take India, for example. There are currently three different family adventure holidays to india on offer: Tiger Trails & Taj Mahal, Mountains & Tigers and my favorite, Spicelands & Elephants.

It’s no longer necessary to wait for the kids to grow up before you can have the holiday of your dreams. Remember, when it comes to following your heart, “now” is always better than “someday”.
