Adventure holiday? Family holiday? How about both at once!

June 24th, 2008 at 01:16pm Under Exotic locations+ Overland travel+ family vacations

Thinking of a family holiday, but hankering after the adventure of a lifetime? With The Adventure Company, it’s possible to do both at the same time.

The company offers a wide range of different holidays for the adventurous spirit, including an amazing selection of Family Adventure vacations. Don’t go thinking that this means Disneyland or some other theme park, either. These packages will take you to exotic places far and wide - with never a sign of Mickey and his friends.

Take India, for example. There are currently three different family adventure holidays to india on offer: Tiger Trails & Taj Mahal, Mountains & Tigers and my favorite, Spicelands & Elephants.

It’s no longer necessary to wait for the kids to grow up before you can have the holiday of your dreams. Remember, when it comes to following your heart, “now” is always better than “someday”.

Useful items away from home

June 23rd, 2008 at 12:24pm Under Overland travel+ Short breaks+ Travel tips

These Personal Valet pouches look really useful for anyone who travels a lot. I found them on ThisNext.

I’ve never seen anything like this on sale before - maybe I just never looked, lol. But if you’re already on your travels you can use those plastic shopping bags they give away in big stores in Europe in the same sort of way. Not so good, because you can’t see what’s inside without opening them up, and they aren’t labelled either, but it does work. These see-through bags do look really useful, though.
