Are you looking for a vacation rental with a real difference? Are you tired of the banal and normal? Why not literally turn the clock back in time and stay in a real Irish thatched cottage. Experience a slower pace of life on the North West coast of Ireland in County Donegal.
Located right on the Atlantic Ocean, Cruit Island is defiantly a destination with a difference. Joined from the mainland by a bridge this small secluded location offers an abundance of outdoor activities for the more adventurous traveller. Experience how Robinson Crusoe felt whilst walking on the numerous deserted beaches in the area, marvel at the rugged beauty of the Atlantic Ocean or enjoy a round of golf at one of Ireland’s most beautiful courses. Listen to the call of the Cuckoo, now almost extinct in Ireland or pick some rare wildflowers. Try your hand at fishing-the area boasts numerous species including Cod, Pollack, Tope, Mackerel, Gurnard, Conger Eel, Wrasse and Ling. Sample some of the areas fine locally produced cuisine or join the locals for a few pints of Guinness.
In the evening return home to sit at a blazing turf fire, relax with family and friends playing cards or board games as there are no phones or televisions in the cottages. Take life at a slower pace and re-invigorate your mind and body. Listen to the soothing sound of the Ocean as it crashes over the rocks less than 100 meters from where you sit.
Daily flights operate between Dublin and Donegal International Airport at Carrickfinn where car rental can also be arranged. Cruit Island is located less than 10 miles from the Airport or is a 5 hour drive from Dublin or Shannon.

Is it any wonder? Since Hollywood launched New Zealand big time onto the world's cinema screens with epic block busters such as Lord of The Rings, King Kong and The Chronicles of Narnia, everyone wants to visit.
In fact, New Zealand is one of the most popular travel search destinations, with almost two million online searches for information each year, even beating out firm favorites such as Hong Kong and London.

The island of Cozumel is only 12 miles (19 km) off the Mexican Yucatan Peninsula's east coast and 44 miles (71 km) south of Cancun. For years, Cozumel was a quiet sleepy island that didn't get many visitors until Jacques Cousteau did a documentary on it
after discovering the world class scuba diving at the Palancar
Reefs nearby. Since 1961, Cozumel has been known as one of the
best scuba diving destinations in the world. In fact for decades
since that time, the only tourists visiting the island have been
primarily scuba divers. Mainstream tourists went to the resort
intensive Cancun in the mainland instead. However,

When people ask about the top sights to see in the south Florida
area including Fort Lauderdale and Miami, I always advise them to
try and make some time to go down to the Florida Keys. The
Florida Keys are the string of islands just south of the Florida
mainland and runs 120 miles from end to end. Fort Lauderdale and
Miami are fun but for a relaxing change of pace, the Florida Keys
is the place to be. For snorkellers and scuba divers going to
south Florida, I would consider Florida Keys a must. The waters
around Key Largo are a protected marine park with a very

It's amazing how a person's adventurous spirit gets a wake up call by simply watching a Tarzan re-run.
"Hey," I thought. "I'm due for a holiday. I've always wanted to visit Africa. What about an African Safari?" What about it indeed!
So I rang my local travel centre and posed the question..."What do you have in the way of African Safaris?" The chirpy voice on the other end of the line immediately responded. "Sir, you've certainly come to the right place. What type of safari are you interested in?"
Pausing for a moment just a little confused by her question I replied.
